The International Home, Kitchenware and Electrical Appliances Exhibition in Turkey is organized by Informa Markets, a leading British exhibition group, in partnership with relevant industry associations. Held annually in autumn at the TUYAP Exhibition Center in Istanbul, the event has grown into the third-largest home goods fair in Europe, ranking only behind the Ambiente fair in Frankfurt and the Spring Fair in Birmingham.
The exhibition covers a broad spectrum of products, including kitchenware, daily consumer goods, home appliances, personal electronics, festive gifts, and more.
The most recent autumn edition featured 1,500 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, including Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Germany, South Korea, and China. It attracted 37,000 buyers, primarily from the Middle East, Europe, North Africa, the Mediterranean, and Southern Europe. The leading source countries for international buyers were Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Greece, the United Kingdom, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Jordan, and Libya.
As an EU member state, Turkey straddles both Europe and Asia, sitting at the junction of the two continents while bordering the Middle East and Central Asia. It currently maintains strong trade ties with Ukraine, Eastern Europe, North Africa, and the European market.
In recent years, developed trading nations such as those in Western Europe, along with South Korea and Japan, have recognized Turkey as a strategic hub for accessing the broader Eurasian region, offering an excellent springboard for companies seeking to expand into these markets. Meanwhile, as the global economic center of gravity continues to shift, Turkey—serving as a commercial bridge between Europe, Asia, and Africa—has responded with keen sensitivity and accuracy to changes in market recovery. This has drawn growing interest from Chinese exporters, who now view Turkey as a promising new platform for exploring business opportunities across Europe, Asia, and Africa.
